Thammasat University Hospital has established “Mental Health Clinic – TU Psychiatry” as well as “Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinic” to provide proper and convenient services to staffs and their families in mental health and psychiatry, including schizophrenia, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), depression, bipolar disorder and panic disorder. The services provided online through the platform “Relationflip Counseling Service” is free of charge.
To ensure comprehensive mental health support for staff and faculty members, the university provides a variety of ongoing services and resources.
Seminar on Mental Health and Cannabis The seminar discussed the mental health issues related to cannabis use and its impact on psychiatric disorders. Activities included the preliminary mental health screening to identify potential issues along with providing guidance on mental health concerns, aiming to proactively aware and management of mental well-being. The focus is on raising the awareness and understanding the effects of cannabis and promoting mental well-being through awareness, education, and early intervention.
When psychiatric patients do not want to see Psychiatrist The common problem faced by relatives or caregivers of psychiatric patients is that the patients themselves often do not want to see a doctor. Some psychiatric patients may lose self-awareness, believe that there is nothing wrong with them, and refuse to accept their illness. Others may experience severe psychiatric symptoms, such as delusions, hallucinations, aggression, or violent outbursts. The clinic provides free consultation to assist staffs with member of the family or relatives who may have this problem.

Mental Health Hotline 1323 – Free 24 hours a day is a free mental health support for staffs and Thammasat University community by providing steps and 1st-aided advice for everyone to handle your mental health and emotion when receiving news or seeing violent images.
TU Psychiatry Clinic extends the service to assist the family’s member or relatives to understand that multiple factors contribute to patients with brain injuries being at higher risk for abnormal fatigue. Recognizing these factors can help in providing appropriate support and care for their well-being.
The stigma associated with mental health care discourages individuals from reaching out for help, creating barriers to effective treatment. Clinic Sabuy Jai – Mental health support from the Health Promotion Unit, Faculty of Nursing
Peaceful Mind Clinic (or in Thai called “Jai Sabaai Clinic”) is a mental health and wellness clinic focused on providing services that promote emotional well-being and mental relaxation to staffs, faculty members and Thammasat University community. The clinic is a part of the Health Promotion Center which was established in 2004 by the Faculty of Nursing, Thammasat University. It also serves as a training facility for nursing students and provides academic services to the community.
Services include individual psychological counseling, group consultations and psychological activities, mental health screening and assessment, and stress-relief techniques. The clinic opens on Tuesday and Wednesday from 13:00 to 15:00. Appointment is required. Service fees range from 300 up to 400 baht per person per session.
The Health Promotion Center regularly conducted the health promotion program for supporting staffs and members of the faculty, helping participants to understand the principles of proper nutrition, exercise according to their health conditions, and effective stress management skills for a better quality of life.

These initiatives are primarily coordinated by the Thammasat Well Being Center, which was established in 2019, often in cooperation with the Thammasat University Hospital (TUH) and the Student Affairs Division. Screening, Clinical Services, and Prevention Supplies
Thammasat provides accessible, clinical preventative care, often in collaboration with the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand:
Free HIV Screening: The university conducts free HIV screening. Students are eligible for testing twice a year.
Normalization and Encouragement: Activities are designed to “Normalize HIV testing”. The messaging emphasizes the importance of early detection and the ability to continue life successfully utilizing anti-retroviral drugs
Accessible Testing: Screening events are hosted in locations like the glass room on the first floor of the BR.4 Building at the Faculty of Science and Technology. Preventative Supplies: The Well Being Center provides a free condom service throughout the year (“บริการถุงยางอนามัยฟรีตลอดปีด้วยจ้า”). They also distribute free lubricant gel and informative brochures.
Clinical Development: The university launched the “Sex Must Say” clinic in 2022. Other noted past clinical efforts include the Health promotion clinic (focused on sexually transmitted diseases), HIV Self-test, and various HIV Screening Projects.

HPV Educational Events: Thammasat University Hospital invited students to attend a specific educational session titled “HPV มันร้าย ติดง่าย แถมมะเร็ง” (HPV is dangerous, easily transmitted, and causes cancer). This event took place on March 29, 2024 (2567), at the Social Sciences Integrated Classroom Building (SC1). The speaker was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watphol Kunthawatchaichai, Deputy Director of Service at the Thammasat lifestyle and wellness medical center.
Educational Materials: The university provides free teaching materials, including organ models, to raise awareness and facilitate effective education on safe sex, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and unintended pregnancies.
Sexual Safety Committee: The Committee for the Promotion of Sexual Safety and Understanding plays a role in education by installing educational boards on safe sex practices and sexual hygiene tools near common and Mikasa rooms in faculty buildings, accompanied by the provision of free condoms.
Comprehensive Education: Educational efforts cover topics such as reproductive health, birth control, rights, and various useful information for teenagers.

Teen Access: The university supports the Teen Club, which serves as a channel for the general public, especially “teenagers,” to access reproductive health services more conveniently.

The Committee for the Promotion of Sexual Safety and Understanding (Sexual Safety Committee) also plays an important role in sexual health care education. The educational boards on safe sex practices showcasing various sexual hygiene tools was installed near the common room and Mikasa room in the faculty building. This initiative is accompanied by the provision of free condoms in the common room to promote sexual safety and raise awareness of safe sexual practices.
Thammasat University delivered outreach programs and projects, both as the on-going and ad-hoc programs, in the local communities and remote rural areas of Thailand, to improve and promote health & well-being in the areas of hygiene, dental care, aging well, exercise, holistic healthcare, and other health and well-being services.
Thammasat Royal Mobile Dental Unit, under Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, organized a “free” dental service project for people in the area in Patumthani province and in various remote areas. Thammasat University was granted with the royal permission to establish the “Thammasat Royal Mobile Dental Unit” since January 11, 1999. The project is aimed to providing the “free of charge” dental services to the public, to promoting the importance of dental health care and to educating the proper oral hygiene care to themselves and their families, especially the elderly.

On August 7, 2024, the Thammasat University Royal Mobile Dental Unit provided free dental services at Thanyaburi Prison in Pathum Thani Province. This outreach initiative received valuable support and cooperation from the executives and staff of Thanyaburi Prison, as well as from the dentists and dental hygienists of Thanyaburi Hospital, ensuring the successful delivery of dental care to the inmates.
On September 6, 2024, the Thammasat University Royal Mobile Dental Unit carried out free dental services at the Bang Duea Municipality in Bang Duea District, Pathum Thani Province. Beyond offering general dental examinations and treatments to residents within the municipality and nearby areas, the unit also provided fluoride coating services for children at the Bang Duea Child Development Center. The success of this mission was attributed to the cooperation and assistance from Bang Duea Municipality, first and second-year master’s students, dental lecturers, and all staff involved.
On November 3, 2024, the Royal Mobile Dental Unit participated in the 13th “Thammasat Meets the People Mobile Medical Unit” project, held at the Chalerm Phra Kiat District Administrative Office in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. In collaboration with the Thammasat Relations Office and the Thammasat Birthday Merit Fund, the unit provided comprehensive dental services including dental examinations, fillings, scaling, tooth extractions, and fluoride coating for the public in Chalerm Phra Kiat District and surrounding areas. The efforts of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and local volunteers from the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Public Health Office were crucial in the successful execution of these services.
Thammasat Mobile Medical Units – health check-up services for the local community
Throughout the academic year 2023-2024, the mobile health service unit from the Healthcare Service Center, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, and all health-related faculties within Thammasat University, have regularly provided the annual check-up services, influenza vaccination to factories in several industrial park and companies, kindergarten, schools, universities in the nearby locations, and the communities in various provinces such as:
On August 3, 2023, its Health Service Center collaborated with Khu Khot Municipality on a project to address “Screening for Vision Abnormalities and Addressing Unclear Vision in the Elderly”. This program provided comprehensive services, including cataract screening, general vision screening, eye examinations by an ophthalmologist, and the provision of eyeglasses to elderly residents in Khu Khot Municipality, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province. Later, on August 18, 2023, the Health Service Center partnered with the Public Health and Environment Division of Sala Klang Subdistrict Municipality to conduct a “Proactive Elderly Health Check-up Project”. This mobile health check-up service specifically targeted residents aged 60 and above in Sala Klang Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, focusing on screening for overall health status, potential health risks, and existing health problems. Continuing its outreach efforts, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University, provided mobile annual health check-up services on March 25, 2024. These services were delivered to the personnel of Nutrichems Co., Ltd., located in Ban That Subdistrict, Kaeng Khoi District, Saraburi Province.
Thammasat University Hospital inaugurated its “Thammasat Nursing for People Project” on May 1, 2024, at Wat Sadet Community in Pathum Thani Province. This event offered a range of free health services, including initial health screening, cancer risk screening, child development promotion activities, cardiovascular disease risk assessment (Thai CV Risk Score), dementia screening, cataract screening, and respiratory disease screening. Later in the month, from May 18-19, 2024, medical experts from the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, specializing in respiratory and allergic diseases, participated in the 9th “Specialized Volunteer Doctors Project to Honor His Majesty the King”. As part of this project, they operated a volunteer medical clinic for lung function and allergy testing at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital in Ayutthaya Province, an event that was also visited by the Minister of Public Health.
Between June 18-21, 2024, representatives from the Faculty of Nursing, Thammasat University, including teachers and students, collaborated with a team from Hong Kong Polytechnic University for an Academic Exchange Program. This program focused on practical training in providing healthcare for elderly caregivers at the Wasanawet Elderly Social Welfare Development Center in Ayutthaya Province. During this exchange, student teams engaged in various activities, such as exercise sessions, physical assessments, physical exercises for the staff, assisting in elderly care, and contributing to the improvement of the center’s environment.
The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University, was actively involved in outreach during November. On November 3, 2024, faculty and staff delivered health services to the public as part of the 13th “Thammasat Meets the People Mobile Medical Unit” project. Held at the Public Assembly Hall in Chalerm Phra Kiat District, Suan Luang Subdistrict, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, the services included checks for blood sugar, cholesterol, and residual toxins in the blood, along with bone density measurements. This event was held in celebration of His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday and Thammasat University’s 9th decade. Later in the month, on November 23-24, 2024, Thammasat University Hospital, in collaboration with the Rak Thammasat Hospital Foundation and the Thammasat Hospital Foundation, organized its 16th “Mobile Medical Unit Project”. This project delivered health services to the community at the Phang Thiam Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Phra Thong Kham District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
These outreaches enhanced public health access by offering essential medical services to the local community. The collaboration among health-related faculties aims to integrate various health services, promote interdisciplinary education, and conduct research in areas related to medicine, public health, and wellness. The initiative strengthens healthcare delivery and academic programs through shared resources and expertise, benefiting students, faculty, and the surrounding communities.
On September 3, 2023, the Health Service Center of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences conducted a health screening service for residents of Lamlukka Subdistrict Municipality aged 35 and above. The Chronic Disease Screening Program designed to screen for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease for Lamlukka Subdistrict Municipality. This initiative focuses on identifying risk factors through health assessments and screenings to promote timely interventions. The program helps raise awareness, encourage lifestyle changes, and provide necessary medical referrals to improve overall public health and prevent the worsening of chronic conditions.

From the community outreach activities reported between academic year 2023 and 2024, Thammasat University faculties have actively engaged in providing mobile health education services. These initiatives aim to disseminate health knowledge, promote healthy behaviors, and equip various community groups with practical information for better well-being. The key projects, arranged chronologically by month and year, are as follows:
On September 16, 2023, the Health Service Center of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University, collaborated with the Public Health and Environment Division of Tha Khlong Municipality. They organized training activities aimed at promoting health behavior change, alongside providing participants with their health check-up results and opportunities to consult with professors and medical technologists. These activities were part of the “Empowering Bodies, Strengthening Minds” project, benefiting citizens in the Tha Khlong community.
On March 17, 2024, the Physical Therapy and Hydrotherapy Unit of the Health Service Center, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University, delivered academic services focused on accident prevention and first aid for the elderly. This educational outreach was conducted for the Elderly Learning Center at the Benjamabopitr Dharma Practice Center in Khlong Song Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani, as part of a community health promotion event and National Physical Therapy Day.
On June 5, 2024, the Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, in collaboration with the Bang Duea Subdistrict Municipality, organized a “Health Market Day”. This event served as an integrated learning platform for students and provided various academic activities and exhibitions. Students showcased their academic work derived from analyzing health problems in the Bang Duea community, aiming to enhance public knowledge and encourage practices to mitigate health impacts. The event also featured a seminar on preparing the elderly for independent living, covering physical and social aspects, with contributions from faculty members.
On September 9, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Thammasat University, specifically its Academic Service Division, conducted a project to enhance knowledge regarding the appropriate use of modern medicines, herbal medicines, and health products. This initiative targeted the elderly club at Suan Phrik Thai Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province. The project aimed to increase awareness of general health care and improve access to accurate and reliable information on medicines and health for the elderly population.
On November 4, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, organized an educational outreach program at Tawiwich School in Pathum Thani Province. The Dean, along with faculty members and students from the Bachelor of Science program in Dental Public Health, conducted activities focused on providing knowledge and promoting oral health. These activities utilized an “Experiential Activities Planner (EAP)” to make oral health education engaging and easy for elementary school students to understand, fostering sustainable oral health awareness from childhood. Later in the month, from November 22-24, 2024, the Community Health program within the Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University (Lampang Campus), organized a community learning activity for its 1st and 2nd-year students at Ban Tha Pa Pao, Tha Pla Duk Subdistrict, Mae Tha District, Lamphun Province. This activity aimed to prepare students by immersing them in the community’s context, enhancing their communication skills, and deepening their understanding of community health. Local wisdom experts were invited to share knowledge with the students, fostering their ability to adapt, work in teams, and understand professional life.
From December 22 to 27, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, organized the “Rural Development Volunteer Camp (Dental Volunteer Camp)” at Ban Yok Kham School in Nong Takhai Subdistrict, Nong Bun Mak District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The camp’s objectives included enhancing learning opportunities for underprivileged students in remote rural schools and promoting oral health care among both the students and the broader community. This initiative also aimed to instill a sense of public service in students, allowing them to learn about community life and strengthen inter-faculty relationships.
As stress from studies and university life becomes more challenging for students. Starting in 2019, Thammasat University established “Viva City: TU Counseling Center” to provide free mental health care and support for all students who are suffering from psychological problems as well as actively promote good mental health and how to cope with crisis. The services are all FREE of charge which include medical examination, organizing various activities that help in enhancing skills in handling mental problems, psychiatrists, psychologists, student advisors, and career counselors.

For in-person counseling service, students can consult with a psychiatrist by appointment. Counseling in English is also available for international students in all campuses.
After-hours counseling services are available only on Monday to Thursday, and appointments are arranged based on assessments and referrals from services provided during official hours. Available Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (during official hours), except on public holidays.
2. Active Promotion of Good Mental Health through Group Activities
Activities are organized to promote and support the development of skills, techniques and understanding of mental well-being for students, such as stress management, building self-esteem, self-forgiveness, art & music therapy, baking and knowledge exchange groups. Viva City provides “Free Access” 24 hours counseling service through a call center. Viva City opens another avenue of support, offering counseling services for Thammasat students free of charge. This service is provided online through the platform Relationflip Registration Form. Students will have access to psychologists and psychiatrists through appointment bookings and consultations available 24 hours a day. (This service does not include medication.) The service opens to all Thammasat’s students, regardless of year student or campus.

8. Thammasat Counseling and Psychological Services Center for Students (TCAPS Center)
TCAPS center is a psychological and counseling service center for Thammasat University students across all 4 campuses: Rangsit, Tha Prachan, Lampang, and Pattaya. The service is for students seeking mental health counseling.

Thammasat University has issued a policy to promote and take care of student sexual health through the establishment of Thammasat Well Being Center in 2019, including a plan for an opening of the “Sex Must Say” clinic in the future. Several ongoing activities to provide sexual and reproductive health care services for students, both living in the dormitories and outside. Free sexual health care program includes: 1) Free HIV screening by Thammasat University Hospital and Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand; 2) Free condom, lubricant gel, and application brochures; 3) Free teaching materials (i.e. organ model) to educate a proper sexual health education as well as raising awareness through various media on the topics of safe sex, sexually transmitted disease prevention, and unintended pregnancy prevention; and 4) Free counseling services on sexual health through Thammasat Well Being Center Facebook page to provide health care advices and to coordinate and assist the students with sexual health issues.
In addition to the health check-up services, the knowledge of pharmaceuticals, physical therapy, and elderly exercise are as essential. Hence, the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, Thammasat University organized a project to provide knowledge about health care using Thai traditional medicine in the areas such as herbs for skin diseases and conducted a workshop to make herbal products to reduce the harshness of skin diseases such as glycerin bar soap mixed with mangosteen peel, liquid soap from turmeric herb, tamarind, and honey, shampoo mixed with kaffir lime and butterfly pea, etc.

Thammasat Royal Mobile Dental Unit, under Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, organized a “free” dental service project for people in the area in Patumthani province and in various remote areas.
Thammasat University was granted with the royal permission to establish the “Thammasat Royal Mobile Dental Unit” since January 11, 1999. The project is aimed to providing the “free of charge” dental services to the public, to promoting the importance of dental health care and to educating the proper oral hygiene care to themselves and their families, especially the elderly.
From March until December,2022, the dental service project offered free dental service to the people at Pathum Thani Correctional Center, Khlong Luang community (Pathum Thani Province), Sam Phran community (Nakhon Pathom Province), underprivileged children (Chiang Mai Province), and oral care and hygience training in several districts and communities in Pathum Thani. Each year, there were more than 1,500 people have been serviced from Thammasat Royal Mobile Dental Unit.
Most projects were funded by the Royal Dental Fund under His Majesty the King and Alumni Relation Office with approximately 45 medical staffs participated in these projects. The first one was to celebrate the “National Dental Public Health Day” on October 21, 2022, offering free services such as tooth filling, tooth extraction, scaling, and fluoride coating for children and adults, 500 applicants, at the Dental Center, Thammasat University. The other was a campaign called “Shared Smiles” which offer full mouth denture service and root canal treatment, starting from July 1, 2022 until June 30, 2023 at Student Dental Clinic, Thammasat University. โครงการรักษารากฟันแบ่งปันรอยยิ้ม (Jul,2022-Jun,2023)
The quality of health and well-being for the people in the community has always been a key focus for Thammasat University. During COVID-19 pandemic, Thammasat University collaborated with both local and national institutes to establish Field Hospital, curing patients suffer from COVID-19. Thammasat University Field Hospital for COVID-19 opened since March 27, 2020 as the first field hospital in Thailand, from the cooperation between Thammasat University Hospital and the network association of five medical schools (Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University; Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital; Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University; Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, and Faculty of Medicine, Vajira Hospital). Thammasat University Field Hospital is considered a prototype for the establishment of other field hospitals in Thailand, again during the 2nd wave of the epidemic in December, 2020 and continue the support during January until March, 2021.
Thammasat University together with the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region provided COVID-19 screening to the residents of Patumthani, students, staff, university’s personnel and the community around the university area. There were as many as 3,093 participants in the screening which utilized the high-precision RT-PCR (Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction) testing. Please see more details in COVID-19 screening
During June, 2021, Thammasat University Hospital set up a vaccination center at gymnasium 4, Rangsit Campus and was in operation for 161 days to administer as many as 300,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines. The vaccine registrations were done through “TUH for All” application in July, 2021. Please see more details in COVID-19 Vaccination Center
Thammasat University will continue these tasks and create new initiatives and collaboration in order to improving health and well-being of Thai people with various sectors, including the government, private sector, academic sector, medical school, and other health institutions.

Thammasat University recognizes the value of health and well-being. We strive to become a reliable resource and a role model in health and well-being of the people in the community as well as Thailand. We have continuously had several collaborations with local, national, and global health institutions to improve health and well-being outcomes, one of which is the collaboration of Faculty of Allied Health and Sciences with external institutions, both academics and public sectors, in the fields of medical technology, physiotherapy, radiologic techniques and sports science.
There have been projects and activities to build and expand academic cooperation networks with external health institutions including cooperation in professional practice, joint management of multidisciplinary education and the development of personnel in the academic field through:
On January 5, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine at Thammasat University formalized an academic cooperation MOU with the National Pediatric Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, focusing on maternal and child nutrition in line with the United Nations Decade of Action on Nutrition 2016–2025. On October 28, 2024, a new MOU with Preah Ang Duong Hospital, Cambodia, was signed to strengthen collaboration in academia, research, and the development of the Eye Southeast Asia Journal (EyeSEA), highlighting regional health collaboration and capacity building.
On April 4, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Thammasat University signed an academic cooperation MOU with the Institute of Natural Medicine, University of Toyama, Japan. The agreement aims to promote global health collaboration in pharmaceutical research and education.
On April 11, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing partnered with the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Care, Takasaki University of Health and Welfare, Japan, through an MOU aimed at strengthening academic and research collaboration. On May 8, 2024, a similar MOU was signed with the Faculty of Health Care and Nursing at Juntendo University, Japan, focusing on expanding academic cooperation and health research. On October 9, 2024, the Faculty held a virtual MOU signing ceremony with the Sinclair School of Nursing, University of Missouri, USA, reinforcing global academic collaboration. On October 17, 2024, a partnership was formalized with 1 Aspire Home Care, Singapore, along with support from Thammasat University Hospital and the Center of Intellectual Property and Business Incubator, to advance health collaboration in community-based care.
On June 25, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry, in partnership with Thammasat University Hospital and the Pan-Asian Dental Informatics Network from Osaka University Dental Hospital, Japan, organized a joint meeting and study visit on hospital information systems, aiming to foster innovation and global health collaboration in dental research and data sharing. On July 23, 2024, the Faculty renewed its Agreement on Academic Cooperation with the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahasaraswati Denpasar University, Indonesia, focusing on academic exchange, research, and student collaboration. On December 26, 2024, an academic cooperation agreement was renewed with Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, India, with activities highlighting smoking cessation initiatives, underscoring dentistry’s role in advancing public health.
The Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, in collaboration with The University of Alabama at Birmingham, organized the AI in Med Conference 2023, the first event in Thailand to delve into the application of AI in medicine. The conference featured numerous world-renowned and Thai experts who will exchange ideas, share experiences, and showcase cutting-edge innovations. This event highlights our commitment to fostering advancements in both medical and technological fields, with a vision of pioneering Medical AI and Digital Health. By harnessing impactful solutions, we aim to revolutionize Thailand’s healthcare landscape.
National Collaborations :
To become a reliable resource and a role model in health and well-being for Thai people, Thammasat University continues to collaborate and provide health services and support with several health institutions in Thailand. Ministry of Public Health often is the key partner especially for the health services, health education, and health innovative projects.
From October 4–6, 2023, the Faculty of Medicine’s Clinical Research Center, in collaboration with the National Clinical Research Center (NCRN) and the Academic Clinical Research Organization (ACRO), with support from the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), organized a national workshop on clinical research and medical device registration under ISO 14155 and ISO 20916 at Swissôtel Bangkok Ratchada. The event strengthened national health collaboration by providing essential training for medical researchers.
On July 5, 2024, the Faculty of Public Health held discussions with the Vipharam Hospital Group to establish an academic cooperation MOU aimed at advancing health, environmental health, occupational safety, health promotion, and health information systems for risk prevention and control. On November 15, 2024, the Faculty of Public Health is set to host a delegation from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the EU-funded Transdisciplinary Higher Education for Global Well-being (THE-GLOW) project. This initiative promotes transdisciplinary learning linked to the SDGs and fosters international health collaboration with Thai partners including Kasetsart University and the Asian Institute of Technology.
On January 11, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing formalized an academic cooperation agreement with Mahavajiralongkorn Thanyaburi Hospital, establishing national health collaboration to support practicum placements for Master of Nursing Science students. On January 29, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing, in partnership with Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited and Bangkok Wattanosoth Cancer Hospital, launched a one-month Short Training Course for Nursing in Chemotherapy Care. This program provided specialized professional training to nurses within the Bangkok Dusit Medical Services hospital network, advancing national healthcare capacity in oncology.
On January 24, 2024, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences signed an academic cooperation agreement with Hashi Laboratory (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Lady Solution Co., Ltd., aiming to jointly develop and transfer knowledge beneficial to society. On February 28, 2024, the Faculty signed an MOU with the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage to enhance collaboration in research, academic services, and the development of sailing sports, integrating health collaboration into sports science.
On April 11, 2024, Thammasat University Hospital signed an MOU with the Dental Innovation Foundation under Royal Patronage to co-develop innovative products and establish a lifestyle medicine system for the Thammasat Lifestyle & Wellness Medical Center, supporting preventive health collaboration. On July 3, 2024, Thammasat University Hospital partnered with DKSH (Thailand) Limited to launch Home Pulse, a digital health collaboration delivering at-home healthcare services such as blood and urine collection. The project aims to enhance patient access, reduce hospital congestion, and strengthen sustainable national healthcare delivery.
Local Collaborations :
Learning Learning how to take care of oneself with some basic health knowledge and then changing health behaviors are what the people in local community or provincial areas needed. The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Department of Physical Therapy, Thammasat University, conducted training programs and projects to promote and develop health management systems, especially for the vulnerable groups and elderly.
On November 12, 2023, the Department of Physical Therapy, in collaboration with the Department of Medical Technology at Thammasat University and Khlong Luang Municipality, conducted a project aimed at promoting health and improving the quality of life for the elderly within the White House Community in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. This initiative, part of their academic practicum, involved providing physical fitness assessments and kidney disease risk analyses to elderly community members.
On November 16, 2023, the Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, in partnership with the National Health Commission Office, the Health Systems Research Institute, and the Saraburi Provincial Administrative Organization, convened a meeting in Saraburi Province. This gathering of academics and agency representatives focused on developing and testing tools for data collection and health impact assessment (HIA). The activities included a practical workshop on designing these tools and planning subsequent data collection efforts for health impact assessment.
On January 11, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing at Thammasat University engaged with Mahavajiralongkorn Thanyaburi Hospital to coordinate the practicum placements for students enrolled in the Master of Nursing Science program. During this meeting, an academic cooperation agreement was also signed between the two institutions. On February 14, 2024, the Health Service Center of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University, in collaboration with the Lad Sawai Municipality Health Insurance Fund, held a training activity focused on promoting health behavior changes for the elderly (aged 60 and above) at Lad Sawai Municipality, Pathum Thani Province. This event, part of the Elderly Health Check-Up Program, offered participants their health check-up results and provided consultations on health issues, led by faculty members from the Department of Medical Technology and medical technologists.
On August 7, 2020, Thammasat Royal Dental Unit, under Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, organised a dental service project, offering free dental service to approximately 200 people (including children, youth, elders, monks), at Nonthaburi municipal office, Nonthaburi province. Then, on September 2, 2020, the unit offered the free dental service to the people at Wat Phosoppolcharoen, Lam Luk Ka district, Pathum Thani Province.
Both projects was funded by the Royal Dental Fund under His Majesty the King and Alumni Relation Office. Approximately 45 medical staff participated in the project.
