Reinforcing the Vision of a “University for the People”

Professor Dr Supasawad Chardchawarn, President of Thammasat University, who presided over the ceremony, stated that the Star CSR Award reflects the University’s commitment to being a “University for the People”. Beyond generating knowledge and innovation, the University seeks to cultivate “agents of change” equipped to address global challenges.

The presentation of the awards therefore reaffirms a shared determination to build a better and more equitable society.

From Policy to Tangible Practice

In addition to the award ceremony, the event featured a CSR exhibition, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and fostering collaboration among academia, government agencies, and the business sector to explore pathways for reducing inequality and promoting environmentally responsible growth.

Strengthening Thai Industry Through Collaboration

The event was supported by key partners from diverse sectors. The President of the CSR Thai Club remarked that the award serves as a testament to the collective power of all sectors in elevating national CSR standards. Meanwhile, the Director of the Eco-Industrial Development Division at the Department of Industrial Works highlighted that the award will function as an important mechanism in encouraging Thailand’s industrial sector to achieve economic growth alongside sustainable social and environmental stewardship.
