Energy wastage identification at Thammasat University

According to Thammasat University’s “Policy of Energy Conservation Management”, the University has appointed the “Executives and Energy Management Committee” who will be monitor, check, and prepare energy consumptions and wastage reports annually. The Rangsit Center Administrative Division conducts an inspection of the electric power system, both usages and wastages, by visiting the areas where energy wastage has been identified.

Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University understands the importance of energy conservation and efficient use of energy, hence, created a project to measure and monitor the usage and wastage of electricity in the faculty’s building.  Lecture Hall 2 was chosen as the pilot project to assess and monitor the energy used in buildings.  The faculty then use the information obtained for improving the efficiency of energy management.
