Another example is the “Graduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students” by Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology which grants scholarships to “low income” foreign students with academic excellence to allow access to international university’s education. In 2020, there were EFS students from Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.  Thammasat University also has several scholarship programs for low-income students in the rural areas of Thailand.
