6 Clean Water and Sanitation

Thailand is located in a tropical zone where the main source of freshwater is from precipitation as rainfall all year-round. Although, there are heavy rainfalls during several months, the scarcity of water is still an issue in some areas. Water management is the key for people to get access to clean water resources in Thailand. Thammasat University also recognizes the importance of this issue. Many activities and policies are designated to maintain water quality, to properly manage water resource, and to minimize water usage.
