
Even though most campuses of Thammasat University are not close to the coast, the University still focuses on maintaining and improving water quality in all bodies of water on campus. The quality of water in canals in the University can affect the water in the rivers as well as in the ocean. Campaigns to promote local water quality preservation may also extend public awareness on the large scale. Thammasat University not only manages water quality on campus, but also encourages students, staff, and the public to participate in improving water quality in rivers and ocean.
